(Web design, UX/UI Design, and various graphics for Modulus Labs. The homepage is geared to K-12 STEM students and teachers.) Educational technology tools for Middle School STEM students. I develop online 3D Science Lab simulations for the classroom under Modulus Labs. These labs are developed based on science curriculums (Next Generation Science Standards) and teacher lesson plans for each subject. In this project below, I worked with an 8th Grade science teacher to create a Physics Lab.

Content Design

The 3D lab explains basic physics concepts (Force, Friction) to 8th Grade science students. It was designed to showcase real-world physics while being accessible and engaging.

The logo was designed using kid-friendly, accessible stencil typography.

Website Design

The website was designed to be used by students and teachers in the classroom or at home. The simulations are accessible for everyone because they run entirely in the browser.

Educational Design

This is the lesson plan and lab report designed for the 8th Grade science students, created in collaboration with the teacher. The lab reports were designed to assess learning and meet the objectives set by the Next Generation Science Standards for this physics lesson.

Lessons Learned

The student feedback was used for tuning the development of future EduTech games and instructional materials for teachers.
